Some current challenges
Here are some examples of current projects.
RUAG Space
Among the activities at RUAG Space AB, a part of the RUAG concern, is developing computer systems, antennas and microwave electronics for satellites.
Apricot Management has now been commissioned to help RUAG Space to design a leadership program for all managers and project leaders. This means that, together with RUAG Space, we will develop and implement values and behaviours that support the company's vision of modern leadership.
This will be done in many small steps in close cooperation with the customer, where we will together design subsequent steps at the same time that the leadership program is being carried out.
Ericsson Zambia
Did you know that Ericsson has been active in Africa since the 1890s? At that time they installed land telephone lines in both northern and southern Africa. Ericsson’s history stretches far back in Zambia also – since the end of the 1960s – and the company established offices in the capitol city of Lusaka in 2007.
Ericsson Zambia wants to create a common company culture that unites the many different nationalities that work there – a culture in which employees feel good and perform well and that allows them to be innovative. The company also wants to strengthen their customer relations by holding discussions with them so that they together can develop the values that contribute to long-term success for both parties.
Ericsson Zambia has employed Apricot Management to support this goal. We make a culture measurement, give training in the power of thought, stress management and creativity, and lead the work to arrive at common values and behaviour that improve cooperation both internally and externally.
Ericsson R&D Radio & Core
Apricot Management is continuing in its task to help Ericsson R&D Radio & Core with a large culture and change project. To this time, our training sessions and workshops in methods for creativity have resulted in a new way of working in testing and verifying products, which has given shorter lead-times to delivery and cost savings. The next step has to do with ensuring that willingness to cooperate and thinking in new ways remain in place. For this purpose we are training line managers, project managers and selected key persons in the power of thought and creativity. We are also leading the process of developing the values and behaviour that best support the work of carrying out the desired changes.
Gatubolaget
We have been given the task of helping the management group at Gatubolaget to continue its development. In a program in which we examine personal values, sensitive points and the actual and desired management group culture, we contribute toward a greater understanding of the similarities and differences among its members. Together we create a common view of the group’s culture in order to make performance and cooperation as good as possible. We also work with the significance of what the members think about themselves, about each other, about the group’s situation and about how they can achieve good communication and feedback.
TietoEnator Healthcare & Welfare
TietoEnator Healthcare & Welfare is working on a large project for Apoteksbolaget. We have been entrusted the task of managing the job of creating a common set of values that makes everyday work and decision-making easier. The goals are to raise efficiency, increase motivation and strengthen cooperation.
The work starts with measuring employees’ personal values, the existing culture and the desired culture. We interpret and discuss the results and establish a set of core values from them that will lead to fulfilling the goals. In workshops and dialogues we then go more deeply into how employees’ values guide their behaviour in their everyday work.
AddQ Consulting
The company was founded by four people in 2005 and has since expanded rapidly to 37 co-workers today.
We helped the management with training in stress management in autumn 2006. The management then initiated a personal transformation project. In the autumn of 2007, the management had decided to invest in further development of the corporate culture and create a value-driven company with shared values.
Apricot Management is now helping AddQ Consulting get started with processes and tools to create a value-driven company. AddQ Consulting’s plan is to grow horizontally as well as vertically to generate long-term success for all stakeholders—co-workers, customers, suppliers, cooperation partners and shareholders.

Ericsson R&D Sverige
Ericsson has reorganized to improve the company’s solutions so that they better match operators’ business plans.
The goal is to develop a unique value for customers, and Ericsson therefore wants to improve cooperation between systems management, product management and global services.
We have been commissioned to deliver an education and training program in the power of thought and creativity, which will help Ericsson reach the above-mentioned goals.
Liseberg
We have been commissioned to train all the managers at Liseberg in conflict management to create better relations. The managers need knowledge on how to handle stressful situations with an element of conflict—directly with guests or co-workers, or between co-workers and guests. In the latter case, the manager has to handle the conflict in such a way that both the guest and co-worker feel as good as possible after the event. Liseberg can thereby improve relations and live up to their values of caring and spreading joy.
