#5: Why don’t we generate more new ideas?
The greater the ability to innovate, the greater the competitiveness. But the ability to think in new ways does not arise by itself. Our human brains get into a rut and having to think new thoughts can easily make us feel insecure.
Children are very creative when they start school. Then they learn what is “right” and “wrong”. Empirical studies show that adults have only about two percent of their original creativity left.
Recovering at least a part of our original creativity is essential for our ability to innovate. Apricot Management runs training and workshops on creativity and creative methods for generating new ideas, individually and in groups. We can also support the development of a corporate culture that encourages a creative climate.
